fiskaly DSFinV-K
Introduction
Section titled “Introduction”fiskaly DSFinV-K (DSFINVK DE) is a cloud-based service for the German market that enables POS providers (CUSTOMER) and their merchants (END CUSTOMER) to generate and export electronic records in the standardized DSFinV-K (Digitale Schnittstelle der Finanzverwaltung für Kassensysteme) format required by German law. The service works in conjunction with fiskaly SIGN DE (KassenSichV) and the Management API to provide complete, export-ready data for financial audits. The service is accessed via a RESTful API and managed through the fiskaly dashboard/HUB.
Service Description
Section titled “Service Description”The fiskaly DSFINVK DE API is a RESTful API that receives cash closure data and stores it for later export according to the DSFinV-K taxonomy. Key aspects include:
- The CUSTOMER transmits the required data via the fiskaly DSFINVK DE API.
- The payload links data to entries from fiskaly SIGN DE (KassenSichV) and the Management API.
- fiskaly completes the transmitted data with data from the KassenSichV and Management API to produce a final export according to DSFinV-K taxonomy.
- Exports are provided to the CUSTOMER as JSON and CSV, filtered by time range, via the dashboard and API.
- Various filter functions are provided for export retrieval.
fiskaly’s scope of services does not include: integration into recording systems; development of individual solutions or adaptations; training services; provision of internal documentation (except public integration instructions and API descriptions via workspace.fiskaly.com); data transfer services between the API and the END CUSTOMER’s IT systems; storage of data beyond the three (3) month period; support and assistance services not expressly specified in the contract; or other products of fiskaly.
Functionalities
Section titled “Functionalities”- Cash closure data ingestion: Accepts cash closure data via the API in the schema of the DFKA taxonomy.
- Data linking: Automatically links transmitted data to entries from fiskaly SIGN DE and the Management API.
- DSFinV-K export generation: Produces final exports in accordance with the DSFinV-K taxonomy, combining customer-provided and system-enriched data.
- Export retrieval: Provides exports as JSON and CSV, with filter functions (e.g., by time range) via the API and dashboard.
System Requirements
Section titled “System Requirements”- A valid contractual relationship with fiskaly, including active use of fiskaly SIGN DE (KassenSichV) and the Management API.
- An internet connection for integration and operation.
- Integration of the fiskaly DSFINVK DE API into the CUSTOMER’s POS system.
- The CUSTOMER must provide all required data in the DFKA taxonomy schema.
Maintenance and Support
Section titled “Maintenance and Support”fiskaly is committed to maintaining and updating the DSFinV-K service. fiskaly undertakes to maintain and update the Service with a view to supporting its security, availability, and ongoing alignment with applicable technical and reporting requirements; however, the Customer remains responsible for implementing required updates, migrations, and integration changes on its side. The service is versioned according to semantic versioning; significant changes resulting in new major releases will be documented. Maintenance activities may result in the temporary outage of the service. As far as possible, these activities shall be announced at least two (2) weeks in advance; emergency maintenance activities may deviate from this. fiskaly provides assistance to customers via the fiskaly support portal (support.fiskaly.com).
Testing
Section titled “Testing”fiskaly provides a TEST environment for the DSFINVK DE API, allowing the CUSTOMER to validate its integration and data transmission before going live. fiskaly is not responsible if real data is used in the TEST environment.
Service Limitations
Section titled “Service Limitations”- All required data must be provided by the CUSTOMER via the API; fiskaly only supplements with KassenSichV and Management API data.
- The completeness and correctness of the data transmitted by the CUSTOMER is the CUSTOMER’s sole responsibility.
- The service does not validate the business accuracy or tax correctness of the data provided.
Customer Obligations
Section titled “Customer Obligations”- Must transfer all data required for DSFinV-K export to fiskaly in the schema of the DFKA taxonomy via the API.
- Must ensure the accuracy and completeness of all transmitted data.
- Must maintain active fiskaly SIGN DE (KassenSichV) and Management API configurations for the data linking to function correctly.
- Must retrieve and retain exports for submission to the competent tax authorities upon request.
