Glossary

Name	Description
Commercial document	Italian fiscal receipt. Since 2020, used to certify B2C transactions, replacing the traditional fiscal receipt. Transaction data can be transmitted electronically to AdE through: A telematic cash register (RT device) The “Documento Commerciale Online” web procedure on the Revenue Agency’s “Fatture e Corrispettivi” portal SIGN IT lite Approved software solutions compliant with the technical specifications of 7 March 2025 SIGN IT
Lottery code	8-character alphanumeric code, uniquely linked to the buyer’s tax code, required to participate in the receipt lottery (“Lotteria degli Scontrini”). Generated on the official portal and presented to the merchant at the time of electronic payment to link the purchase to the lottery.
AdE	Agenzia delle Entrate — Italian Revenue Agency.
Progressive number	Unique number assigned by AdE to each TRANSACTION record successfully transmitted. Included in the compliance.data returned in the response.
