Portugal requires fiscally relevant documents — invoices, receipts, and related records — to be created with certified invoicing software and secured against tampering. SIGN PT is a platform-independent, software-only RESTful API that lets your ERP, POS, or invoicing system create, sign, and report compliant documents without dedicated hardware.

In practice, SIGN PT helps you:

  • Digitally sign and chain invoices, receipts, and other fiscal documents,
  • Register document series with the AT and generate the corresponding ATCUD,
  • Produce a QR code on every fiscally relevant document,
  • Report invoicing data to the AT — in real time via Web Services or through monthly SAF-T (PT) XML exports,
  • and, from 2027 onward, secure PDF invoices with a qualified electronic signature (QES).

Built on the Unified API

Same auth pattern and resource model as the other SIGN products — add Portugal without rewriting your integration.

  1. Create your organization

Register on fiskaly HUB, create an Account (if you don’t already have one), and set up an Organization Group for Portugal.

  2. Generate API credentials

Create an API Key for your Organization via HUB within your Group.

  3. Integrate the API

Use the SIGN PT API to register your document series and create signed, reportable fiscal documents. See the integration guide.
